E-STATION VOLT
Type 1 or Type 2 Networked Charging Station with MID Certified Meter
The Volt is a networkable charging station designed for commercial installations which require metering, access control, network management and driver management services. Access control is via MiFare classic compatible RFID cards and/or the NEXTCHARGE smart phone application: http://chargestar.com.au/NEXTCHARGE/ The stations are equipped with onboard ethernet ports and 3G modems. The stations can be connected to the charging station provider’s network and managed using the free network and driver management software provided by Circontrol. Alternatively the stations can connected to the Charge Star network and managed by E-Station.
The Volt is supplied in a Type 2 configuration (Type 2 is now the public charging standard in Australia). The Volt is rated up to 7 kW (single phase version) and 22 kW (three phase version). The Volt is fully compatible with all pure electric and hybrid cars.
The driver supplies the cable. A Type 1 car charges with a Type 1 to Type 2 cable. A Type 2 car charges with a Type 2 to Type 2 cable.
